This painting is called A Sunday on La Grande Jatte and was painted by Georges Seurat in 1884-86. This painting is 6ft 10in x 10ft 1in. Georges painted this by covering the canvas in tiny dots, dabs and dashes of color. and there is around 3.5 million of them. Georges said he wanted to paint "modern people", and he has a wide range in his painting. From men in top hats to workers and from women fishing to a man playing a bugle. The woman also in the front right is walking a monkey on a leash.
