Water Lilies, Morning

This painting is called Water Lilies, Morning and was painted by Claude Monet in 1914-18 and is on a 6ft 7in x 41ft 10in. French artist Claude Monet devoted his last 30 years of his life to painting water lilies. He built a pond in his backyard and painted it over and over again to try an capture the changing effect of sunlight on the flowers and water. He painted with a very bold impression, so bold you may not realise it's a lily pond at first.
